Many deer hunters know of ancient and unusall sites located back in the woods. Many of these hunters are not interested in treasure hunting so will gladly give one the info, etc. So it would be good to make friends with some of these deer hunters!l Luckily I live in Texas which is big on Game Hunting! In fact, many of the trucks down here sport rifle racks in their back windows..........although due to robberies many of these are left empty!!! So if you go to Wal-Mart and go to the hunting dept. it wouldn't be hard to bump into these types! Of course, I grew up with many of these hunters so asking would not be so akward! As for waiting for spring, I would have propped my rifle against a tree and would have done a prety good impromtu bottle hunt on site!!......................HH..................Jo e
