Default 2 types of hunting in one day.

today i was deer hunting and after an hour or so i i came upon a a very large indentation in the ground, well last time i saw an indentation of this stature in this same area, it turned out to be a bottle dump from the mid to late 1800's. so i started moving leaves dirts and snow around with my boots. well this deer hunt turned into a bottle dig, i found a few old bottles just under the leaves. ill save this dig for spring, the bottles will always be there waiting, the deer and the end of the season wont.

the dump is near a foundation of an old carrraige house that i found a couple years back. i found another bottle dump near it with some great old bottles last year and this year( even broke a pontiled in this dump). i detected around the foundation a little and found a gold ring, and a very shallow unmarked grave, i know the property, foundation and other bottle dump i found are very old so im hoping for some great finds from this dump, maybe another pontile, i'll have to be more careful this time.

Spring is a long way. Why don't you give it a try before the real cold gets here?

i found a metal box (coffin) about 7 inches underground once. it had human bones in it. i dont know why they would be buried at a carraige house but whatever floats your boat. they were very old and brittle, and the box had rotten through years and years ago. i stayed away from that area after that. found a gold ring 30 yards away.
