Spitting rain this afternoon caused us to keep the detectors in the van today. HJ Jr and I decided to walk down to the lower farm dump. We know nothing whatsoever about bottles, but here is what we found.
8 1/2" tall Rawleigh's bottle 7 " tall Wildroot bottle with tiny hole at top (shaker?) 2 1/2" tall ink type bottle with no markings other than C326 on bottom. Screw type lid 2 7/8 inch tall skinny bottle that something indecipherable is painted on. We also found a gallon amber glass Clorox bottle produced between 1945 and 1950 because the Clorox letters are solidly raised, not outlined. (Clorox website). They are probably worth nothing more than they are to HJ Jr for finding them, but any other info on these bottles would be fun to know. Thanks HJ |
