Default Bronze Franklin Mint Coins.

Flea Market find help!! Pappy. I was at the Flea Market in Farminton today and was very interested in an old gun cabinet that a guy had. The problem was that the bottom was locked and would not open. He told me that there was some old shells and junk in the bottom. So I bought it. After getting it home and managing to crack the lock. I found some interesting things!!! There was a little white box 7"x7"x4" wrapped with old duct tape full of COINS!!!!!! There are 18 Indian Heads (2, 1859 perfect coins) All in Mint shape. 1 of them a 1908s but in rough shape. 2 Barber Quarters. 3 Barber Dimes. 4 Seated Liberty Dimes, 1868 Silver 3 cent coin, 7 Liberty Nickels and 3 Barber halfs.
The other stuff is newer that was in the bottom that I have a question on. There are 14 Franklin Mint Christmas Cards with bronze sealed coins in each one. All dates from 1969-1983. The earlier look to be silver though. These were never opened or touched and look brand new. Any idea if they are worth anything?? There is also a weird looking old coin that looks anchient On the front is a head of someone with a band around the head. On the back looks to be a Roman Soldier standing with a staff?? reaching out to the right. I will take a pic of it.

Default CARDS

WELL, It appears that you had a pretty good day at the Flea Market. If that dude has any more stuff tell him I'll buy it if it is full of suprises like the ones you have. The cards were SPECIAL ISSUES cards from the FRANKLIN MINT and in the 60's they sold for $10.95 each. You do the math !! The encased coins are NOT Silver but are plated with silver. The cards should be worth about $20.00 each at todays prices. THINK YOU MADE A PRETTY GOOD FIND HERE. CONGRAT'S and keep up the good work at the Flea Market....I haven't seen any of these cards in quite a while. If you want to sell them, I can suggest a card dealer.....PAPPY :D :D :D
