Hi pappy i just found this token last night. I believe i found something on the net about the company that made the token i believe it was a button company in philladelphia Pa. It says Wm. H. Horstmann Co. Philla. Pa.
The picture is not the best but i hope you can see it ok. What i saw was a company that manufactured buttons from 1820 to 1850 i think

Ken, William H. Horstmann Company (PA. & N.Y.) was the Largest Military Equipment Dealer of the 19th Century. You have a very nice token. You may want to check out the following and do a little research for your token. I'll do more on my end and let you know what I find out.
