Default REAGAN COMMERATIVE

Beefcarver, Yes you did alright in your purchase. The coin usually sells for $12.50-$14.00 and is a very good collectors item. I forsee it being worth about $18.00-20.00 withing the next few years (BECAUSE OF REAGANS DEATH)....PAPPY :D :D :D

Hey, BC, nice coin. Got a story to tell you about "Dutch" Reagan. My dad worked with him in his younger days. Dutch was the sport announcer at a radio station in Davenport, Ia. Dad and some friends were having a cold one after work, near the station, when in walked Dutch. He asked his friends if one of them would loan him 5 bucks (big money back then) because he had a hot date. Dad gave him the 5er, and never saw it again. Dad still likes to tell the story about how the President owes him! Dad is now 96 yrs. old. Boomer

That's a very interesting story Boomer. You're a lucky man to have your dad around for so long. I'm a Reagan fan as well, by the way.
