We came across this comb thing last week at a estate sale and no one there knew what is was , i looked up the pat. date and is is around 1930 or so, any idea? thanks for any help............jack
WELL JACK, It's a MANE COMB. Used to comb out the mane on horses. Looks like it is in pretty good condition too. Probably around $4.00 to $7.00 at auction...Maybe a little more...Appears to have a celuloid handle so I would think it probably to come from around Late 30's to Middle 40's....Hope this helped a little....PAPPY :D :D :D
P.S. Is the handle celuloid or wood?

The handle is celuloid or bake-o-lite and thanks , not having a horse but a metal detector would have never figured that one out ,lol, thanks again, jack.. :D
