gum machine maybe
ok pappy here you go another neat but worthless thing ive found.i think its a face plate to a gum ball machine, it has writen on it in small letters just below the hole "see license notice inside" and in big letters airline . also its made of brass and has nice decertive work all on iy that might be hard to see because of age.

GUM BALL SHUTE
YEP, Came from an AIRLINE Gum Ball Machine in the mid 40's. Was installed in stores with a selling agreement (lic. Notice) located inside the machine. Nice little piece of History....PAPPY :D :D :D
