no great find but what is it
hi pappy, i have been finding these copper tubes shaped like large pencils. they are very thin walled and are flared down just like a pencil but with a little hole in the end. i find them mostly at old schools like 1940 or earlier. did they write with them some how???? if you need a pic let me know

COPPER PENCILS
YEP, Same as the mechanical pencil...Made of copper...I have several of them too..the tops usulally wear away but that is exactly what they were used for....Late 30's and early 40's....PAPPY :D :D :D
