Rimfire

Hi Pappy, Can you tell me anything about this shell caseing it is a rimfire and it doesn't appear to have been fired, the only markings I can find is the letter "P" the crimp seems to be too much for a regular bullet not sure if its full of mud or if its sealed with shot maybe. The dia. is .315 length is .529 I'm thinking it may be a .32cal rimfire. the .22 cal LR beside it has a dia. of .223 and a length (Bullet included) is .579 (not sure how accurate my micrometer is) Thanks in advance for your help and have a great day and the best of luck......Richard

the p is the companys name.peters,remington winchester etc most companys stamp there shells.as fars as the cal i think 17 cal. 22 mag and 5mm are rimfire ....creek
