Default POLICE UNIFORM BUTTON

WELL MRDEE3, It appears that you have located a fine specimen of a mid 1900's Police Uniform Button from the Horstmann Co. The button apprears to be very clean and intact and would be worth about $8.00 to $10.00 on today's market. ***NOTE*** These buttons were also used by the Northern Troops during the Civil War however your's appears to be too clean to have been from that period being it was a DUG BUTTON. If you would, let me know how deep you found it and what type area you found it in.....THANKS....PAPPY :D :D :D
