Default ADVERTISEMENT PIN *STAR SHOES*

JACK, Very nice find. You have located an advertisement pin for STAR SHOES. It is from the early 40's to late 40's in age. They were not given out to the public. They were worn by the "Shoe Salesman" that worked in the shoe depts. of stores. WHEN THERE WERE SUCH THINGS. Used to be you could go into a Dept. Store or shoe store and the "SHOE SALESMAN" would meet you and they would take the time to measure your foot and show you styles of shoes and you would make your pick. They would make sure that the shoes were the right size before you made your purchase or help you look for a special kind of shoe. THAT DON'T HAPPEN ANYMORE. Whoever owned that pin before you found it was a SALESMAN.Nice Collectable and it would fetch around $7.00 to $10.00
Looks as though yours is in pretty good shape.....PAPPY :D :D :D
