Default Ring

DAVE, We used to make rings like that back in the 50's with old spoon handles. Are you most sure that it is copper?

Default Ring

DAVE, I still think it to be made out of a copper spoon or fork handle. It was quite common to make these rings in the late 1800's through the mid 1900's. I can't put an exact date on the ring for you but I can tell you it is a VERY GOOD find and something to be proud of. Would love to know the histroy behind where you located it.

Hi pappy , i found the ring by the old catholic school here in town, it was built in about 1906, and they are adding an addition and i found it where they had disturbed some of the ground . Have a good day and good hunting .
