Default Could be civil or Revolutionary?

hello papy would like an id on a find at an old house in buford south carolina. I dug two pieces of metal about as long as a knife, but twice as wide. Inscription on the metal pieces where a U.S. with numbers after, that are partly unreadable and there are four leafclovers on both pieces. Two on the first with a sun in the middle and the word trade on both ends , the other just one clover and the U.S. and numbers beside. Picked it up as silver or copper very thin metal. I do not have pics yet but i will try to get some in soon. Any help on the id thanks for any insight you might have on this.

What part of Buford (Beaufort) SC are you digging in? That is if you don't mind me asking...

The picture is to big. You are going to have to resize it.
If your picture is in Microsoft office picture manager click on picture on the top of the screen. Go to resize and click on it. on the right of the screen click on the down button under predefined width and height. Click document small (800x600px)
on the bottom of the screen click ok.
go back to the top of the screen under file and click save all.
You should be able to go back and upload it .

This is the only program I can help you with. Chuck is the pro at this if mine fails. Good luck
