Can't tell if it has anything BM on the reverse or not. What is it made of and how big is it?

It is registering as a penny on my detector so I am assuming it is made of copper.
It is 3/4 of an inch from edge to edge. Hope this helps... and thanks for your help, Brandon

Take a good look at the front of the button in the bottom right and tell me if that is something written on the button...Seems as though I see lettering of some type.

No lettering... We might be chasing a ghost. Do you think I should take it to an antique store and see if someone can at least put a date to it? I am searching the web trying to find one similar to it.

You might want to check with an antique store if you can. I think that it is a clothing (Women's) (costume) button from around the mid 1900's. but I am not sure. Wish I could help a little more
