FIRST OF ALL THEY ARE VERY PRETTY PINS. They are probably from the mid 1900's. Appear to be silver or plated or possibly pewter with plating with handpainted onyx stones. I would think they are from the period of possibly 1920-1940. It's very hard to tell from a photograph what the material is. This is my opinion. Take them to your local jewelry store and let someone look at them and let me know. The reason I say they are onyx stones is that during that period people used to purchase items with onyx stone in them and either handpaint them themselves or have them handpainted....Wish I could be of more help....PAPPY
P.S. I doubt seroiusly that a jeweler would charge much to appraise them for you.
P.S.S. I would think that they were made in the United States or possibly in Europe.
