Hey pappy hope your doing well. Found a copper North Carolina driver's license today and a lone ranger lucky horseshoe coin. Do you have any info on either of these items? Thanks for your time . By the way the license is from 1928.

Wow! Those are both very interesting finds. I had no idea what to expect when you were talking about a copper license. It's pretty neat. What all does it say?

Default Token

The Lone Ranger Token came with Merita Bread back in the early 50's. ( For the Kids, Lone Ranger Club ) The television show about the Lone Ranger was sponsored by Merita Bread.

Please tell me what the N.C. License says on it...I can only read part of it..THANKS

Default N.C.Tag

Okey Dokey, I have researched and can't find that at any time N.C. had a metal Drivers License of any sort. I am from North Carolina and I can only remember back to paper license which was a long time ago.
I believe it to be a chauffers license. Those and Cab license were issued in a metal form to be kept in the vehicle.
