Here is my whatjamacallit....
Found this in my yard where the bushes were recently removed. It was conical shaped but is smashed flat now. Any thoughts on what this is or was used for???

not really sure what it is..but nice find! it does look a little like the fire extinguisher nozzle mentioned above.
