German coins in rural Arkansas?

I found some German coins the other day,I will post the pics later. How can I find out if they are worth anything?

One says: Bundesrepublik deutschland Pfennig? 1- 1949, 3-1950

and the other is silver that says Bundesrepublik Deutsche Mark. 1951

Germany is no longer on the Pfennig/Mark system . If they were then those coins would have the following relative values . A pfennig was a penny . It would be 1/100 of a Mark . When they went off the Mark system the Mark was worth about $1.75 or so . Since they are "later" dates I would doubt that they are worth much more than "show off" value .

YEP, GERMANY IS NOW ON THE EURO SYSTEM...BUT..Can still look up the older coins and their values...PAPPY
