Question Button, Tag, Medallion, Whatzit?

I found this item a couple of days ago in the yard of a neighboring home (built about 1910). It was at the base of a pecan tree in the back yard about 3" deep. It is the exact size of a Jefferson Nickle in thickness and diameter but appears to be bronze. It has an ornate dot pattern around the face of the disc, two small holes drilled top & bottom, and K82 stamped in the center. The back of the disc is blank. It feels very much like a coin but has the look of a button, token, medallion, or tag. Thanks for looking and any ideas you may have are appreciated.
