Default Unique Eagle Medallion?

Hey Pappy ... I dug this eagle medallion the other day and would like to know if you have seen one similar or know anything about it. It is silver dollar in size and made in two pieces (which I broke trying to free it from some tree roots). There is a 3/4 inch threaded rod that sticks through the disc and the eagle piece was attached to it from behind. This makes me think that the medallion was attached to something as a decoration and not worn as a badge or pendant. I have not found any writing on the disc front or back to give a clue as to the maker. Anyway thanks for taking a look ... Jimmy
