Pappy what's wrong with this wheatie?
I found this wheat penny a few days ago in my bother in laws penny jar. It has some kind of divits or marks on it. Is this something that happened at the mint? Please help!
 It is dated 1940 something but you can't see the last number.

that's not a minting error, probably just someone making designs on the penny for fun.
