Hat Badge and button ????
Ok, I haven't been on in a while but I have just recently found two things that I need an id on. The first i found at a house that was built around 1892 and the button around a grave yard from the 1830's to the early 1900's. I thought at first that the badge was a firemans hat badge but could not find any information on it. Any help would be a great help. thanks

Badge/button
The button appears to be a colonial flat button and the badge appears to be canadian poss. australian but I'm still checking.

I couldnt find the badge the crown is on the inside of the star all the one's that I have seen the crown is on the top. One thing to add that can help. I live in monroe North carolina. Charlotte NC is about thirty minutes away The city was named after Queen charlotte back along time ago not sure what date. That is the only reason I thought it could be from around here.And the nick name for charlotte is the Queen City. Hope this helps.
