Default Seen one like this before?

Hi Pappy, I pulled this out of my backyard the otherday feeling very confident it was a wheat penny up till I washed off the dirt. I went online and see that the old "Good for 5-cents in Trade" token was not uncommon back in the times of the depression. What's intersting and unique about this one is the lack of info on the back to place or date it. For a time I thought there might have been a badly worn enscryption on the raised ring in the back but I don't think that's the case hear. Figured I'd get some sage advice from a guy who's seen a lot more of this type of thing than myself. What's your take on this one?

I've obviously gotten a few visitors but not a single bite. Does nobody have an idea what or where or when this token might hail from? Hey folks, I'm open to conjecture...least till Pappy puts in his two cents

Default Does indeed Beale..

From what I've seen so many of these "good for 5 cents trade" look almost identicle on the front. What's throwing me is the lack of script on the back. Hey Cold Feet. Not an altogether bad idea. The raised center ring and offset points in the back had me thinking along similar lines. Like an early 20th century pachinco token or something. Seems to me that those two, unequally positioned bumps around the centered ring may have functioned to guide the fall of this token in a random way through something like you suggest.
Thanks guys
By the way beale, I gather this was something you dug up recently? If so, where?

No I have not dug up anything like that. It is a cool find BTY. The link I put on was a token data base I found one day surfing the net. Here is a link to the main site, Beale.

Looks like it was attached to something else and was broken on the back.
