Default Pappy any idea of the Age/era/pic

Pappy please look at my relic hunt finds sleepless in nc
heres a few pic My dad seems to think this stuff could be well over 100 years old pulled it from 1 of 4 old homesites on his 180 acres..what you think..thanks james

It would appear that all of the iron items may have come from the 1800-1900 era. Hard to tell with iron. Good finds. The plow point probably is from the 1900's.

Thanks pappy..I hope to be going back soon..My dad thinks an old stage coach use to run across his land..theres some old wagon trails there..So I;ll be asking you a few questions about the finds I;m sure..thanks james..

James, Wish I could be a little more specific on the dates BUT Iron items are a very hard thing to date unless they are marked in some way...

A lot of the stuff looks to be from old farm implements. When I was a kid growing up on an old farm - folks had abandoned a lot of old farm equipment and left it in a hollow (holler - as a lot of folks would say) and the pieces in your pictures look a LOT like some of the things I remember seeing.

Thanks epc and pappy, yea I'm thinking the pedal might be off an iron wheel tractor..
pappy see the round piece with the loop hole in the first photo the other side is flat like it coulda been a saddle badge or belt buckle..any ideas???? Epc thats funny..Its where these pieces were located down in the Holler!!!
