Default I Found this in the Water on Yesterday's Hunt

Part of me thinks that it might be a something and part of me thinks it's just a nothing. It's brass and has a small hole at each of the corners of both bases. It's probably hardware off of a boat and it looks familiar to me but it's out of context so I can't place it.
What do you think, Pappy? Junk or something interesting?

Thanks,

BDA

I think it is hardware off a sailboat...I'll look at it some more and if I change my mind...I'll let you know.

Thanks, Pappy. Don't spend any time on it, you're probably on the money.

Cheers,

Inspecctor nailedit the threads are acme threads, the type of threads they use on clamps/vices,so most likely a clamp/securing device for a round porthole.
