Default 1927 Dealers Convention

Help Me Pappy! Found this at an old home place today! Thought it was a Lady's Dress buckle or a large suspender buckle when I dug it. Turns out to be a 1927 Dealers Convention something.....
Any clues on this one? The back of the rectangle frame appears to have had something soldered to it.

Thanks For All Looks & Assistance, Roger

Any sign of a pin mounting on the back? It could be a business card/name tag from the DGB Dealer's Convention of 1927. It certainly looks like a frame for something to me and it is business card size.

Roger, I have seen these before. It is a Convention name tag and was used by someone at the Dallas Texas Convention on May 22, 1927. The item is a TEXAS GRAIN DEALERS name tag and at one time it had a ribbon connected to it at the bottom. It also contained the persons name and the company that he was with.

The Convention in 1927 was held on May 22 in Dallas Texas.

Thanks for all the replies and for the positive ID! I hadn't noticed until this morning that I'd also found the back. The two pieces wasn't really that close together.

Thanks Once Again,
GLD, HH, & Have Fun, Roger

Roger, I was thinking that the last one of these I saw was in W.Va. at my flea market. Some guy brought it in and sold it to me and if I remember correctly it was from the 30's. Guess I re-sold it somewhere along the way.
