Button
Hey Pappy.
I found this button under a fruit tree at place thought to be an old homestead about 5" or 6" down yesterday. Its all metal and has a piece of wire holding the two pieces together where the cloth goes through. Just wondered if its old or not? I could get other pics if you need them. Thanks.. Frank

Button
Appears to be an old clothing button. Probably from around the mid 1800's to early 1900's. Not Civil War or anything like that. Sometimes when the shanks broke off buttons back then they were replaced with wire.
