Default Can you date these please?

Hi Pappy,

Found these items at an old house near my office.

I know that they are an old brass padlock and a small football pendant.

I'm trying to figure out about how old they are.

The pendant seems to be lead with an outer coating of another more brittle metal shell. The outer shell came apart as I was cleaning it revealing the lead core.

I've seen pics online of similar padlocks but no info on the age of them.

Thanks Pappy

1956? cool! The house where I found it dates back to about 1865. I've found a wide variety of "junk" when I detect there. No date on this one though. Any idea what the outer cover of the pendant is made of?
