Default Hey Pappy, take a peek

Pappy, I found this yesterday at a yard sale. Its a Wal-Feld Company Model 5000 series childrens record player. Do you have any idea as to the year made and approximate worth? I've tried googling with no luck. Works fine, just have nothing to play on it.
Any info you may provide would be appreciated.

I believe that belonged to Tin Man when he was a youngster--It appears to be him on the top left corner -- I know its old, but I can't date it for sure--good find-- hh Ed

Default Record Player

Wal-Feld went bankrupt in or around 1965. They used to make quite a few things...Depression Glass, Depression Shot Glasses,Toy's just to name a few. Your record Player would be from the early 1950's and in really good shape should fetch $60-$70.00 at a trade show along with the written info that you have
