Default Coin

The coin should actually read " OLD COURT MUNZE". MUNZE is German for "MINT". The Alte Hof (Old Court) in the center of Munich is the former imperial residence of Louis IV, Holy Roman Emperor and consist of Five Wings. Burgstock, Zwingerstock, Lorenzistock, Pfisterstock and Brunnenstock. "THE MINT YARD" of the "OLD COURT" is an arch in the north wing and connects the castle with a renaissance building which originally served for the ducal stables and the art collection of Albert V.Duke of Baravia. Constructed in 1536 it served as "THE MINT".

Is there anyway that she will let you provide a photograph of the coin?

Default Old coin

I actually saw the coin today, it had on the top of it 6 Grote in big letters & then it also had the Old Cour Munze & it's date was actually 1818.

So is it a German coin your saying?

The next time I see her I'll take my camera so I can get a picture of it.

I suspect the coin looks a bit like this, but the obverse is probably different. I couldn't find pictures of one from that year.
