Pappy, I found this while hunting today...I think it might be part of a belt buckle, but I am not sure,,,Would you please give me some guidance on this object....Thanks...Buster...

Buster, It looks to me to be a decorative drawer pull...missing the pull handle...I'll look into it further.

ok its the oakleafs on the ends thats got me baffled,,it looks like there are rings or hooks of some sort there,,buster could you get a better pic of the oakleafs,,maybe that 'll help,,,nice find though,,congrats

Buster Buster Buster ! I'm shocked that you dident reconize this for what it is.It is obviously an 1893 congresional spam medal.Handed out at the Worlds Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893 and was awarded to the winner of the spam eating contest.The holes and little hooks were used to hang the ribbons.
