Default Are these old Privies?

Hey Pappy... need to tap into your infinite wisdom for a sec.... I have been trying to find evidence of old privy's since I stumbled on to this site (before that, I never knew of the sport called "privy divin") It is very interesting. Do these look something like old privy's?

The second pic looks more to be an old privy...The first pic appears to be an old cellar....BOTH are GREAT places to hunt.....Around the old foundation too.

If it is an old privy the soil will be a lot darker in that area than the surrounding soil.

Regardless of what it is, it looks like a great site to hunt! Go for it before it gets overgrown!

Default OLD somthings?

I am an outhouse digger. A lot of them had some sort of foundation under them. If your into diggin' and won't get into trouble get diggin', don't worry the bad stuff is gone by now. I would wash my hands anyway before you dig into that hoagie for lunch!
