yo Pappy..your take on this one
From the land of the Bluenose...any idea on this one. Is quite a large copper about the size of an 8 reale.

New Brunswick Penny
Leslie, It is a Canadian Penny. From New Brunswick dated 1843 or 1854. The only ones they minted were in 1843 and 1854...None in between. The opposite side of the coin has a profile of VICTORIA DEI GRATIA REGINA.Made of all copper. If it is a 1843 and in VG condition it is worth approx. $2.00 and if it is a 1854 in VG condition it is worth approx. $2.50...Hope this helps a little...PAPPY
