Question chinese silver dollars?

hey pappy,
i recently got a hold of two coins that have chinese writing on them. i dont really care if they are fake, because they look really cool. if they are fake, i can still have a couple of cool counterfiet coins.

the first one has a lot of symbols on the front and has a really cool dragon on the back

the second one has a few symbols on the front and has a really wicked looking ship on the back.

any help you could provide on these would be really appreciated, as a few people i know have been pestering me to give them these coins (even though i have no intention on parting with them). it would be cool if tey were worth a couple dollars.

and btw, they both are just barely magnetic. not much at all, but the pull is there.

Default Coins

The first pictured coin is a dollar from YUNNAN/CHINA. There were several different materials used for the coinage. Copper, Silver and Nickel/Copper. They date to 1908 and are listed in the Standard Catalog Of World Coins under Y#258. If yours is Silver it will weigh 26.80gm. and in Fine Condition will fetch about $27.50, in VF Condition it will be worth about $50.00 and in XF condition it will be worth about $75.00. YUNNAN/CHINA is located north of Laos and North Vietnam.

The second coin I have not been able to find BUT I believe that it is Vietnam coinage from the mid 1980's.

SORRY FOR THE DELAY...PAPPY HAS HAD A LOT OF IRONS IN THE FIRE BUT IT SEEMS TO BE SLOWING SOME NOW.
