Talking Two more things Pappy

I also found this small shield and the button. I'm really wondering about the shield and just threw in the button for the heck of it!

A.J., MAN!! THIS WAS A HARD ONE TO LOCK DOWN BUT I THINK I'VE GOT IT FOR YOU. THE BUTTON IS FROM THE 1930's. THE BADGE IS A MEMBERS BADGE THAT WAS WORN BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE NORTH CAROLINA "HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY" DURING THE PERIOD OF 1880-1885......PAPPY

P.S. DON'T KNOW THE VALUE AS OF YET
