Cool find, It is always nice to find something old. It would make a neat picture locket, or display.

Default Watch Case

According to the Complete Guide to Pocket Watches your case is a Hamilton watch case and the watch was made by the Lancaster Watch Company, PA. in 1883. ( This is according to the serial number). The watch in Excellent condition would sell on the market now for approx. $1,200.00. The watch is a grade 7J with 17 Jewels.
