Default Old Pocket Watch with No Guts??

Hi Pappy,
Found this yesterday at an old farm house under a tree about 5" deep. I was so pumped to find a watch, but then after I cleaned it a bit, opened it to find no time piece. What do ya' think??

After further review I noticed another hinge that opened the back and found the name and model. It reads Cylinder R.S. Carement Four Holes Jewelled Name Cooper London.

Here's a pic

My gosh, what a find! Great shape, too. I sure hope you can find something out about it. I would bet it's worth a fair penny.
