Copper tubes?
Hi there! Pappy, I'm really enjoying your knowledge!
My hubby and I took a trip to South Padre Island, Tx in the late 1980's. We were MDing on the beach and found two copper tubes with corks on the ends about 5 ft apart and about 1 foot down. The closed end of the tube is flattened out. We opened them and they have paper inside saying something to the effect, "Go Nor by Noreast...." Do you know what they might be? Did they have MDing parties long ago? I'm trying to find them so I can post the pic. They are about 5" long and 1/2" wide. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you! Kim

Copper Tubes
KIM, BEFORE I MAKE ANY JUDGEMENT AS TO WHAT THEY MAY BE I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A PHOTOGRAPH. DETECTING CLUBS HAVE VARIOUS WAYS OF CONDUCTIONG SEEDED HUNTS. THIS MAY OR MAY NOT BE ONE...THANKS...PAPPY
