Default Need Help Identifying

So I was out searching today and I found this item. I have no idea really how to describe it or what it could possibly be!

The area I am searching is rich with history. Not far from the location I found it, is a Methodist Church (Circa turn of the Century - now) and also A Masonic Lodge that has been here since around 1860. I was also told that in the same area I was searching that way back when they use to have Klu Clux Clan meetings there, but I dont know if its true.

I have found no other items in this area. It was 6 inches deep and when I found it it was showing up as a penny/dime.

To me it looks like it has a face on it. There are two eyes, and then there are two divits that are narrow and run longways under each eye. In between the divits there is what looks to be like some sort of a strange symbol, but I cant really tell, sort of look like wheat.

Anyway it says something on the left hand side. The only letters I can make out are A N G E? R?. I can tell there was definatly a letter before the A but cant tell what it was.

The back looks like it maybe attached to something. Anyway some of the pictures has my cell ohone in them as well, as a size reference.

I have no idea that to think!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Edited to add: I just noticed the pictures I attached dont have my phone in them! The item measures; 2 inches tall x about 1 1/2 wide.

Megan, It appears to me to be a portion of the cylinder of a toy gun. I will look at it further, blow it up and try to let you know something soon.

Looks like a part of a toy cap gun? The blank is a R for Ranger. I found one with the R still on it and more of the gun left, Beale.

Pappy your so clever, I think you have it again, looks like a toy gun part to me also. The letters though could it spell DANGER? G-girl
