Default WhatZit??

Pappy (or anyone else) can you ID this "whatzit" that I dug? Hope the pix come thru OK. I dug this about 6 ft from a location where I dug a dropped civil war minie ball and at about the same depth. It is made of lead I think due to the softness and weight. The "prongs" around it may have been bent in to the center with the weight of earth and activity above ground, I am not sure. SUre would like to know what the heck it is! Any and all help appreciated.

I hate to say it - but it looks a little obscene to me! Of course, TN Digger's proctologist remark may have contributed to my opinion!
