GARY, They appear to be ROMAN...I'll look into it just as soon as I have a chance...

Wouldn't it interesting if these coins turnout to be Roman Coins (which I think they are also) and they were found in the U.S. of A. further supporting the Roman visitation to North America, pre-Columbus.

I don't know where you got these coins, Gary but I'm a fan of Forbidden Archeology which is the study of archeological datum that flies in the face of accepted history. 'History is written by the Victor' my old history prof used to say and the twinkle in his eye lead his brighter students to question accepted history texts.

There is greater mysteries under heaven and earth than can be imagined by the minds of men.

Cheers,

WOW! Yup sure is good job.I guess it is pretty old then-- 295 AD.Thanx for yur help Sulfur.I also found out that there were so many roman coins made and for so many years that you can get em fairly cheap! Some for 30- 40 dollars a piece.

GARY, The designs are ROMAN. I'm pretty sure that the coins are counterfeit....Too clean and distinct to be real coins from that period.
Where did you come about getting the coins?

You may want to take a look at the following web site and possibly you can locate your coin design.

Roman Imperial Coinage Alphabetical Index of Rulers
