Default Metal Detectors

I have a Micronata 3001 and a bell and howell prospector 200. How good are they. I paid $100 for both at an estate sale and know nothing about them. Any help would be appreciated.

Default Micronata 3001

The Micronata 3001 is a Radio Shack Detector and is fited with Sensitivity Guage, Adjustable Peak, Volume Control, On-Off and has an adjustable height. This is an OLDER model radio shack detector and uses 8 AA batteries. The weight is not suitable for all day swinging and the parts are becoming hard to find as is the operation manual.

Here is the Op. Man for you to print out just in case you do not have one.

Default Bell & Howell Prospector 200

The B&H Prospector 200 is a very low-end detector and can be purchased for around $35-$40.00. Will locate coins and possibly other objects BUT DON'T expect a lot from this instrument.

Default Detectors

If I had to choose between the two I would take the M 3001.
