Hello again Pappy I got a good one now Im not real sure what it could be. Its in the shape of a hexagon no bigger then an inch and a half, on the front side it has a sail boat on some waves and on the back it says " in grateful appreciation from the children of asia". It was on a necklace at one time its got a little loop on top. My guess would be that it was from the 30s 40s or 50s because thats when the steamboat dock that I found this at would have been in buisness. But again thats just a guess. Well hope you can help me with this its a neat find at the least i hope to be getting a scanner real soon I know that would help you a lot. Thanks again Pappy your a great person. JW

J.W., You have located a charm that was once part of a bracelet. The charm was given to workers in the UNICEF program in the mid 50's for their continious part of support in the earthquake disasters that srtuck in central Asia.Also part of the Children's Relief Fund in that region that provided food and clothing for the Younger victim's.....PAPPY

Thank you so so much Pappy, i never would have found that out without you. Is it worth anything? Not that it matters cause I never sell anything that I find It has sentimental value to me. But I was just a little curious. Your the best Pappy can't thank you enough. JW
