Here's one for ya....
I've had this metal for several years.If I remember correctly,I found it in an old farmhouse when I lived in Stamping Ground,Ky..I've asked everyone I know,some think it could be some type of G.A.R. medal.It is silver and the flag was attached to the bottom. I just don't have a clue.Thanks any comments appreciated.

Grand Army Of The Republic Ribbon
IT is a G.A.R. Ribbon from the state of Kentucky. The target ( CIRCLES) signify the state. From around 1909 for the Sons Of The Union Army (Veteran). In really good shape it would fetch approx. $190.00-$200.00 on the market...PAPPY

Very cool,thanks PAPPY.I had no idea,too bad the flag broke loose from the bottom portion.It has a bar across the top portion, below the eagle for a name to be engraved.It was never engraved,does ths affect the value?Btw-I've had this posted at another MD'ing forum for months and no one could ID it,way to go PAPPY and thanks again.I'm gonna have to visit you guys more often.GOOD lUCK AND H.H.-diggummup
