Default Can't figure this out

Hey Pappy, I found this in my yard about 5" deep and don't have a clue what it could be. It has a small stone in the middle but it's just a little off center. The clips on the back still work like new. Can't really tell what it's made of though I'm leaning towards copper. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Craig

Default Lapel Pin

Craig, It appears to be a piece of ladies costume jewelry from the mid 1900's. The squeeze pin on the back fit's through a lapel hole on a ladies jacket. Look's to be in pretty good shape for it's age....PAPPY
