Default How to get apraisal on a very rare find?

Ole' Pappy
After much searching I believe I have finally identified this very unusual object that I found with my metal detector last year. My question to you is where can I get an appraisal on the value of an item such as this?

The item is a "Hooked Tag" or "Clothing Hook" dated 1650 to 1750 according to several similar finds that were identified on the UK FID Portable Antiquities internet site.
I found the item in a Minnesota field and there was a small piece of monofilament fishing line tied to it so it was probably lost by some European settlers in the 20th century.

See the attached pictures - the item is a round domed shape about the size of a silver dollar with a raised relief of a bearded man with a turban on the front. There would have been a 1.5 inch hook on one side that was broken off when I found it.

Can you help me get a value on this object?
Suebee

Default Clothing Hook

SUEBEE, Very beautiful clothing hook. I'll give you three possibilities to start with. Try these and if they don't work out, let me know...
