PAT, I just heard back from Julie and she says that during her studies she has never heard of an artist by the name of Alice Amie. She has also consulted with several artist friends of hers and they drew a blank also. I am NOT well versed in art myself but I have been doing some research on the name. I will post a web site for you to view later today and you can determine if it is any value to you in finding out anything concerning this painting.Julie suggest that you take the painting to a well known art or antique shop to see if they can tell you anything.....PAPPY
