Pappy I have had this stamp for sometime now the orange round area in this pic is the common way it was printed and the one I have has the Orange area droped down behind lamp very noticable just wonder if any value this may have

WILL, You may very well have a mis-print stamp. You would have to take it to the Post Office and let them be the determining factor. DO NOT give the stamp up until you have done some research on it. I can't find anywhere that there was a mis-print of this particular stamp. There were three (3) in this issue printed in 1975. See attached photograph. Your's is #1608 in the Scotts General Issue Standard. The other two are #1610 and #1611....PAPPY

P.S. Sure would love to see a pic of the other stamp.

I have well 3 as well I found them in my grandparents attic when i was like 16 I have always wondered about this stamp
