Default What time frame of furniture?

Pappy,

Sister found this today and I think it is off some old piece of furniture. I am trying to determin the approximate age and wonder if you may know by any chance as we also found a littler one of these but in a different pattern.

I cleaned the littler one up by accident. She threw it in my tumbler with some old clad I was cleaning. The littler one might be part of a button of some sorts. The little one is about the size of a penny and the big one is three pennies across. That is all I had handy to measure with.

Default Here are the backs.

Here they are. They are not exactly that great from behind but still got my curiosity up as to the time frame. Found out from old records that this is the second house built on my lot as the first one burned the same time the first school across the street burned the first time. The big one measures exactly 2 1/4" across and the litle one measures 3/4" from end to end.

Default Itmes

THANKS..Lookin at the first I observe 4 brad or nail holes and in my opinion it is an ornate fixture from a bed or possibly a chair from the early 1900's.My guess would be a bed. Also it's size would imply that it is from a bed or large chair. The second item appears to be a piece of costume jewelry from the early 1900's to around 1920.It's hard to tell other than I have seen the design before and it's size.....Wish I could help more....PAPPY
